SCHOOP
At Lower Wortley Primary School we use an app called SCHOOP to communicate with parents and carers.
Through the app you will be kept up to date with school news and events through a push notification service. It is cloud based so it will not use your mobile storage and it can be accessed on both android and apple devices.
Grandparents, childminders and any others caring for your children can also download the app and keep up to date with what is happening in school.
All you have to do is download the free app and sign up. You can choose the year groups/classes you want to receive messages from so if you have children in different classes you can sign up for more than one class. You will need an email address but this is saved securely and cannot be accessed by other parents. The app is very safe and secure and meets all data protection requirements. We strongly recommend that you input your child’s name when setting up SCHOOP. This is to enable us to send a SCHOOP directly to you.
