Key Stage 1 Curriculum
These pages give details of how the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1 is covered in our school. As we are a one and a half form entry school, learning is taught over a two year cycle. Children in KS1 will cover all the requirements of the National Curriculum over the two years that they spend in KS1. Learning is differentiated to ensure that lessons and activities are at the appropriate level of challenge and support for each child.
The National Curriculum is taught through discrete subject lessons with links made between subjects when relevant. Each term additional information about what the children will be learning can be found in the 'This Term' page in the classes menu above.
