As part of commitment to restorative practice and supporting children with their emotional literacy, we introduced 'High Five' in June 2017.
'High Five' is a system that children can use to sort out low level conflicts, disputes or friendship issues. The children follow the five steps in order to help them work through problems and the children are taught words and phrases that they can use to help them follow each step.
This system teaches the children how to communicate their feelings to others and supports them to use a non-confrontational method to resolve problems.
