The tag rugby team dominated their group but were unfortunate to lose narrowly in the quarter finals. Click for more information.

The event at Stanningley began with a 3-0 win over Lowtown - the highlight of which was a length of the field try from Liam. A comfortable 6-0 success followed against Valley View before the toughest game of the group against Stanningley. Early tries from Jenson and Deakon, who were both outstanding on the day, saw us lead 2-0. Stanningley hit back it took last gasp tags from Megan and Deakon to ensure we scraped a 2-1 victory. The last game of the group saw a comfortable 2-0 victory over Farfield to ensure we qualified as group winners! The quarter final against Cobden was an end to end game with the lead changing hands 5 times. Deakon kept us in the game with 2 great tries but unfortunately had lost one of his tags to rule out the equalising try he scored in the last minute. It was a harsh way to lose but the team can be proud of their efforts!
