School Dinners

Dinner money is payable every Monday morning, the prices for 2017/18 are:

All children in Years 3 and 4  £10.65 per week (£2.13 per day).
All children in Years 5 and 6  £10.90 per week (£2.18 per day).

Special diets can be catered for. One weeks notice is required if your child wants to change from a school dinner to packed lunches. If your child wants to change from packed lunches to school dinners, please inform Mrs Harte in the school office.

Dinner money should be placed in a sealed envelope with the child’s name, amount enclosed and the name of the class teacher, clearly written on the front. This should be  placed in the appropriate box in the classroom on Monday morning.

A packed lunch may be brought by your child. Flasks containing hot drinks are not allowed neither are sweets. Drinks must be brought in an unbreakable and re-sealable container.

As a ‘HEALTHY SCHOOL’ we would prefer children not to bring fizzy drinks.

Under the Government's 'School Food Plan' children in Reception and Key Stage 1 are entitled to universal free school meals from September 2014.  Please inform the school office if you do not wish to take up your child's free school meal.

Milk Money

Parents of all children (Reception to Year 6) have the option for their child to have milk at school.  Parents must pay each term if they wish their children to have milk. Government legislation states that ‘the charge is due when a child takes milk at any time, however infrequent’. Nursery children are exempt from this charge.

The cost for milk for 2017/18 is £8 per term, per child.
